EVENT INFORMATION

The Jaycees Feargrounds is the Sioux Falls Jaycees’ haunted house project, and the largest fundraiser and volunteer driver for the Sioux Falls Jaycees chapter. The haunted house is located at the W.H Lyons Fairgrounds, and is open to the community every year in October.

The Sioux Falls Jaycees have run their Haunted House project since 1974. There have been many different versions of the haunt throughout its history, and currently exists as a 6,000-square-foot haunted house in the Fine Arts building on the fairgrounds.

Did you know that our haunted house is actually a fundraiser? Each ticket purchased is a donation that goes back into the Sioux Falls community through Jaycees projects. These projects include the 4th of July fireworks celebration, a free fireworks show complete with kids activities that has an annual attendance of 6,000-9,000 people annually, and our Holiday Gifts for Kids program, serving over 400 families in need and providing gifts to over 1200 children each year.

KIDS DAY

Sunday, October 13: 2-4pm

Hey families! Experience our haunted attraction with the lights on at Jaycees Feargrounds Kid’s Day! Collect candy from friendly volunteers in our decorated maze. See our spooky setups without the scares. Fun activities outside too! Perfect for brave kids and cautious ones alike. Join us for Halloween excitement on October 13th, 2-4 p.m!

Ages

For kids, 12 and under.

Tickets:

MUST purchase ticket at gate.

$10/per person

*One (1) adult gets in free, per paid child.

Discounts:

With Canned Food Donation for the Food Pantry: $9

*Only one (1) discount per person. Limit 3 cans.

With Canned Dog Food Donation for the Humane Society: $8 *Only one (1) discount per person. Limit 3 cans.

Activities:

Kid’s Day activities for this year includes Bounce Around Inflatables, Mr. Twister Balloon Artist, Princess, Superheroes, Wrestlers, Wilbur, Fire Truck, Face Painting, Pumpkin Carriage Rides, Reptiles, Candy, and Lighted Tours of the Haunted Maze.

Kid’s Day is held rain, snow or shine, so be sure to dress for the weather. No refunds will be given.

Please note we cut off ticket sales 30 min to 1 hour before the haunted house closes. This allows all ticket holders to get through the haunt, and gets our hard-working volunteers home in a timely manner.
