Wednesday, July 12th kicks off the beginning of the 52nd Annual Black Hills Corvette Classic hosted by the Sioux Falls Corvette Club.This year’s theme is Thrills & Chills in the Hills.
Hot Summer Nites will take place at the W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds from 4-10pm for the 30th anniversary of this free, fun event.
Food vendors, Beer Garden, Kids Corral – Touch a truck, and entertainment from the El Riad Shriners’ Last Call Band.
Returning again is the hugely popular and entertaining Quick 60 Event presented by the Motor Medics - Nordstrom Automotive’s nationally syndicated “Under The Hood” radio show. Any Corvette Owner can compete trying to capture the lowest ET. Trophies and over $1,000 cash will be awarded to the winners in three different divisions.
Hot Summer Nites is a fundraiser for the Sioux Falls Corvette Club’s charity – The Children’s Home Shelter for Family Safety. People will have the opportunity to donate during the event.
We are anticipating over 250 Corvettes from all across the country. You will have the chance to see nearly every color and every style produced – Plus see the cars in action as they compete to win the Quick 60 Race.
Hot Summer Nites is a free, fun, family event. We encourage everyone to come out. All Corvette owners are welcome to show their car. Anyone in the area is welcome to come out to see all the Corvettes and celebrate – Thrills & Chills in the Hills.
