Scooters and Wheelchair Rentals
HomeTown Mobility of Merrill, IA now is accepting reservations online and by phone and as always holds a limited number of wheelchairs and electric scooters for walk-up customers on a first come, first serve basis.
Wheelchairs rent for $15 per day; electric scooters rent for $55 per full day (10am-10pm) or $35 for a half day (10am-4pm or 4pm-10pm).
Security deposit of a driver’s license is required for all rentals. Rental locations the Main gate on the southeast side of the fairgrounds, our tent is straight ahead to the end of the sidewalk and to your left.
If you need assistance getting to your rental please ask at the main ticket booth for a courtesy cart ride to our tent at no charge to you. (Click here for a fairground map).
Scooter and Wheelchair Reservations
It is highly recommended that patrons wishing to rent these mobility aids, reserve online at or call HomeTown Mobility’s home office at 1-877-928-5388 from 9am-5pm Monday - Friday year round.
Reservation staff will be available on the weekends from 9am-5pm starting 1 week prior to first day of the fair through the duration of the event.
Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Reservations will only be accepted for full day rentals. Cancellation must be made 48 hrs in advance to receive a full refund, less a $5 cancellation fee per rental unit.
